Despite recent growth in internet shopping it appears the humble letterbox dropped catalogue is still popular with both marketers and shoppers, The Sydney Morning Herald reports.
A recent study by the Australian Catalogue Association found the number of catalogues distributed over the past year increased by 1.6 per cent, which translates to 8 billion copies.
It's claimed catalogue distribution was up last year due to a perception amongst marketers that this form of advertising is an affordable option.
And it appears this GFC friendly medium was also embraced by shoppers.
A recent Sweeney Research survey suggests consumers see catalogues as more than just 'junk mail' with 85 per cent saying they are happy to receive catalogues.
Researchers say 70 per cent of consumers visited a retailer after being exposed to a catalogue, while 73 per cent of respondents believe catalogues help them save money.
Catalogues represented 60 per cent of total spending on advertising last year.

The same situation is mirrored here in the UK, although I would hope that catalogue retailers attempt to do more to encourage shoppers to obtain product information via other means, eg: better websites, online catalogues, mobile phone apps etc.

I think that to get the loans from creditors you must present a good motivation. Nevertheless, one time I've received a consolidation loan, because I was willing to buy a house.

I propose not to wait until you get enough amount of cash to buy all you need! You can just take the mortgage loans or secured loan and feel yourself free
