Fitness apparel company New Balance has embraced the content marketing trend in a big way with the release of a series of 365 short films, BrandWeek reports.
According to the article, the online delivered films range in scope from comedies to more art-house fare with each video revolving around a central of theme of balance.
While New Balance products are featured in all of the films the ad agency behind the campaign claims the overall intent is to entertain rather than showcase products.
With new content released everyday for the next year New Balance hopes the short films will become part of their target audience's daily lives.

When times are good and business is booming sales and innovative marketing strategy often take a back seat for most small businesses. There's too much else to do and if customers are knocking at the door of their own accord and sales targets are being achieved, then researching new, innovative or experimenting with other tried and tested marketing techniques becomes a low priority. Whilst it is easy for business owners to fall into this trap during the good times, I've always been a strong advocate of 'Don't Dig Your Well When You're Thirsty!'
