It was simply a foolish situation. But phone makers wanted to have their own technology for each phone to be stay a step ahead.It’s good for the manufacturers to swallow their pride, as this will be for the end user’s benefit..

charge up my iPod through the universal dock - nothing happens..?
Now I believe this is because the output of the charger is not the USB standard (5volts), its attually around 18volts - which is fine for my iPod but the dock doesn't like it.Free SMS Australia
