An increasing number of bosses are lavishing gifts upon their employees in a bid to keep staff happy in the job, news.com.au reports.
After researching the trend, recruitment firm Talent2 says the majority of organisations currently have a rewards or incentive scheme in place or are considering one.
iPods, toasters, holidays, footy tickets and housekeepers are just a few examples of the types of gifts employees are receiving, the firm's study found.
Talent2 says a growing number of companies are also choosing to give employees the day off on their birthday or time off to spend with sick relatives.
